The Baggy Green Blog contributors are Australian Cricket Fanatics who have endless motivation to share their views and write articles for other fanatics of the game, not for the notoriety, but purely for the love of the game and to show their genuine support for Australian Cricket.

I launched this Blog in 2008 to be able to express my opinions and thoughts regarding Australian cricket. In doing so I aim to encourage other supporters to continually support the team and open their minds to the challenges Australian Cricket faces.
I come from the Steve Waugh era of cricket, so I tend to be very optimistic and love the in-depth aspects of this great game. Ricky Ponting is a bloke who inspires me and it has been an honor to have followed his career since 1994/5.
I'm a supporter of the South Australian Redbacks and a big Rugby Union fan, notably The Wallabies.

SYLVESTER TAN:
As a
main contributor to Planetcricket.net, Sylvester followed the Baggy Green Blogsite as a
regular contributor after recruiting Ian at Planetcricket.net in 2008.
He posts articles to the Baggy Green Blog a few times a month, especially if plenty is on the go in Australian cricket.
He is analytical and biased to any New South Wales Blues cricketers, notably Steven Smith. He's also a Rugby Union freak, supporting The Brumbies and The Wallabies (of course).

DAN STAPLETON aka STAPO
Dan may not contribute chapters of endless praise on the blog, but is behind nearly every article with regular input on Ian's more publicly driven opinions.
He has traveled to watch the Baggy Greens in action, notably The Frank-Worrell series in the West Indies (2008), the two test matches against Pakistan in England (2010) and the bizarre Newland's Test Match between Australia and South Africa in November 2011, which was over in 3 days.
The cricket players he admires, well, the list is extensive; Shane Warne, Glenn McGrath, Justin Langer, Steve Waugh, Mark Waugh, Michael Clarke, Ricky Ponting, Adam Gilchrist, Time Paine, Steve Smith...get the idea?! As for State cricket, he supports the New South Wales Blues. Yep, another Blues supporter as a contributor!
