Everyone, click the following link immediately, to go and vote for Michael Hussey as the LG ICC Peoples Choice Award.
There are other players up for nomination in the category, but given that the Huss is the only Aussie cricketer up there, I urge you to go and support the bloke who has been an insane contributor for us, in limited overs cricket in particular. Vote the Huss!
He works bloody hard at his game when he is on the field, but equally hard when not on the field with the way he approaches his cricket. He sacrifices lots of time to ensure he stays on top with his profession and to round it up he is a true gentleman and a great ambassador, not only for Australian cricket, but for cricket in general.
He has played some really exciting innings in all forms of the game within the voting period.
He has been incredibly consistent in ODI cricket and was a key contributor to our ICC Champions Trophy title in 2009. He also played one of the best T20 batting innings in the semi-final's against Pakistan at the ICC World T20 and you can't forget the way he batted with Peter Siddle alongside him to give us a half-decent total and a chance to win the 2nd Test against Pakistan at the SCG.
Here is the quoted text from the official site so you can understand the voting a bit better:
'In making their choice for who they believe should win the LG People's Choice Award, fans are asked to consider the player who during the voting period (24 August 2009-10 August 2010) has had an all-round impact on the sport. Not only will the winning player have shown themselves to not only be the most innovative, dynamic and intelligent star in world cricket, but also somebody who has the ability to engage and excite spectators of all ages in different formats of the game. They must also have conducted themselves in a positive manner both on and off the field.'

It's a bit mad, having a people's choice award at all in cricket. As soon as an Indian is in the running, no-one else can win due to their fan base.
Ian, the forum won't let me post anything. It keeps kicking me out after signing in when I try to post.
Hi Lou
Sachin will win, but trying my best to push the Huss' case.
Try login and select, 'Log me on automatically each visit'
I managed to login okay. Give that a go. If it doesn't work send me an email and I will see if I can fix it myside. Often it is too do with the software.
My other suggestion is delete your cookies. If this doesn't work I will have to mess around in my admin functions with the parameters.
I just created a Test account which has no moderator or admin rights and I had no problems at all.
The issue you have happened to me on a forum I was at years ago, think it's to do with your cookies. If you have another Internet browser (eg. Mozilla or IE) try use another.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
Hmm, I might just vote for him. I am so sick of voting for AB de Villiers. Why didn't Hash get nominated!!
I think you're right - Sachin will win. But I've been pushing this on FB for a couple of days now hoping Mussey will get some votes. If it helps, a die-hard Indian supporter I know has voted for Hussey. Maybe he won't be alone?
Sorry Sid
Guess I guess this one is rigged...
Not much of a chance...Leave alone fans...The domestic cricketers in India getting a "directive" to vote is enough.
haha! Yeah Mathan
Sachin has this one in the bag.
Just the numbers dictate it.
Just doing my part to support the Huss...the lone Aussie in this award ordeal.
